NESC Forum 2011

The National Elite Sports Council (NESC) was established in 1993 to create more effective communication, coordination and collaboration between Australia’s Institutes and Academies of Sport within the National Institute Network (NIN).

Membership comprises of the Directors of these peak Sports Institutes and Academies as well as the Director of Sports Development from the Australian Sports Commission.

The NESC network in partnership with its stakeholders assist’s Australian sport to achieve international success through a coordinated national network of high performance sports programs and services.

The bi-annual NESC Forum is an important vehicle by which NESC provides leadership, promotes innovation and excellence and communicates across the network.
