Basketball National U19 Women's Team features AIS rising stars

After a successful camp in Melbourne last week, Gems selectors have put together a team of talented young basketballers who will head to China for a warm-up tournament, as they prepare for the 2011 World Championship in Chile.

The Gems will play in three tournaments against a team from the USA, Czech Republic and the Chinese National U19 team in the coming weeks.

The team will have a pre-departure camp in Melbourne from 27 to 29 April and will fly out on the evening of 29 April to China.   

Team is set to return on 14 May.
