Three AIS Boxers selected in Australian Oceania team

The Oceania Boxing Federation has selected its team to attend the 2009 AIBA President's Cup.

Three Australian athletes gained selection, all of whom are current or former AIS athletes.

Luke Boyd (NSW) Under 54 kg (former AIS-current NTID)
Qamil Balla (Vic) Under 64 kg (current AIS)
Damien Hooper (Q’ld) Under 75 kg (current AIS-current NTID)

The team will contest the President's Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan 6-13 December.

Congratulations to the three athletes as well as the AIS coaches, Coach Bodo Andreass and Coach Don Abnett, who continue to develop them.
