Achievements

Achievements and highlights

Although the golf program has only been operating since February 1992 a great deal has been achieved.

The benefits of the program include an increase in State & National programs of all standards. A National Skills Test has now been established that can be used for talent identification, particularly in isolated country areas. Physiological testing protocols have been established for strengthening golfers and identifying potential injuries before they occur.

During their scholarship year the athletes attend lectures in the areas of physiology (golf specific), nutrition, sports vision and sports psychology.
