AIS Golfer Scott Arnold has won the 2009 Srixon Australian Amateur Championship. 

It capped a great week for Scott who finished 3rd in qualifying and was rarely headed in his 5 matches. 

This win has cemented Scott at the top of the Australian Men’s Amateur Rankings list, well clear of second.

Scott had 11 birdies in his 3 and 1 victory, highlighting the quality of the final in which he defeated Victorian Daniel Beckmann.

In what was a great week for AIS athletes Julia Boland won the Women’s Australian Stroke Play title and made it through to the semi-finals of the Match Play, placing her at the top of the Australian Women’s Amateur Rankings.
