Water Polo Scholarships

In this section

Scholarships are offered to female players in the national squad and also to up-and-coming young players from the national junior team.

Players must have qualified for selection in their state institute of sport or academy of sport program to be considered for an AIS scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded once or twice annually in line with national training periods.

AIS athletes are provided with coaching, access to facilities and equipment, sports science and sports medicine, travel, personal and career development, accommodation, food and some educational expenses. All athletes are encouraged and supported to study or work as well as to train and compete in their sport.
