How do I find information on an Australian athlete?

  • If it is a current athlete or an athlete that has recently retired try our Australian athlete profiles page.
  • If it is an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) athlete, try the athlete profiles under the appropriate sport .
  • If the athlete is a past champion try your school or local library. Books they may hold, such as The Oxford companion to Australian sport , (Melbourne Oxford University Press 1997) will include useful information.

  • Try the AIS section of the web site which includes the history of the AIS, photos of the AIS facilities and information on scholarships.
