Indigenous Sport

Introduction

The Australian Sports Commission's Indigenous Sport Program (ISP) aims to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation in sport and recreation with a specific community development focus. Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations offers the Sporting Chance Program, which focuses on the delivery of projects that use sport and recreation as a vehicle to increase the level of engagement of indigenous students to improve their educational outcomes.
