Education and training

Undertaking training as an official is an important step in ensuring that you are providing a quality service to the participants you are working with. The National Officiating Accreditation Scheme is Australia’s system of training and accrediting officials, which more than 40 sports participate in.

There are a number of ways of undertaking training as an official, including face to face courses, online training, or working with a mentor official. Whether you are officiating your kids in a social competition, or want to take officiating more seriously, undertaking training and accreditation will provide you with valuable officiating skills.
