About

The National Athlete Career and Education (ACE) program is jointly funded by the Australian and state and territory governments. Managed by the Australian Sports Commission, it is delivered through the Australian Institute of Sport and state and territory institutes and academies of sport.

The program assists elite athletes to achieve sport and life goals through integrating learning, work and sports performance. More than 3000 elite athletes are eligible to access ACE each year, taking advantage of the national network and highly qualified staff located in each state and territory.

To be eligible, athletes must be involved in a national senior squad or be on a scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport or a state institute or academy of sport.
