Clubs can support their coaches and officials

Is your club in desperate need of more coaches and officials? You’re not alone; this is a common problem for many clubs. Being able to recruit enough coaches and officials is extremely important for clubs to operate, develop and grow.

However, for many clubs, recruitment is not the problem - it's a matter of keeping the coaches and officials coming back year after year. Clubs should assist in providing information, training, support and resources for their coaches and officials. Retention of your existing volunteers should be a priority for clubs.

The information sheets below contain a range of ideas and strategies to help clubs recruit, recognise and retain coaches and officials.
