EOIs open for Para Uplift Steering Group

Expressions of Interest are now open for the Win Well Para Uplift Steering Group, an advisory body established to support the implementation of a Para Uplift addressing barriers faced by Para-athletes in high performance sport.

The Win Well Para Uplift Steering Group will play a key role in supporting the implementation of system-wide initiatives that have been enabled by a significant investment from the Australian Government. They include, but are not limited to, better classification opportunities, access to fit-for-purpose training environments, and specialised coaching and performance support.

The Win Well Para Uplift Steering group is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) for:

  • One x National Sporting Organisation Chief Executive of a Paralympic or Commonwealth Games sport that features a Para discipline
  • One x National Sporting Organisation Performance Director of a Paralympic or Commonwealth Games sport that features a Para discipline
  • Two x Para Athlete representatives
  • One x High Performance Coach with experience in Para sport

Nominations open on 29 November 2024 and close 1200 (AEDT) Friday 13 December 2024.
