Studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at ACU while competing as an elite para-triathlete pushes me to grow in all areas—academically, athletically, and personally.

Coming from a family of educators, I have seen firsthand the impact teachers can have on shaping young people’s futures. My experiences as a para-triathlete and someone with a disability have given me a unique perspective on resilience, adaptability, and inclusion—values I hope to bring into the classroom to inspire students to overcome their own challenges.

Additionally, education provides me with a long-term career pathway beyond sport. As an elite athlete, I understand that sporting careers are finite, and I want to ensure I have a meaningful profession that aligns with my skills and passions.
