Original AIS athlete accommodation to make way for new world-class facility
Preparations are underway to break ground on the Australian Institute of Sport’s (AIS) new world-class High Performance Testing and Training Centre, one of three facilities being built as part of the Australian Government funded AIS Podium Project to support athletes and sports on the road to Brisbane 2032.

ASC grant boosting women leaders in sport
AFLW field umpire Courtney Gibson says she feels supported to succeed after being named as one of 45 individuals to receive an Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Women Leaders in Sport (WLIS) individual grant, which aims to strengthen women’s leadership and participation across the sector.
