AIS Arena
The possibilities are endless in the AIS Arena — a distinct venue boasting enormous ceiling heights and great versatility. With a total capacity of 6,000, the Arena provides the perfect venue for any mid-sized events, from thrilling sporting games to captivating live performances.

AIS Arena Conditions of Entry
Tickets to events are sold by each respective event promoter. Refer to the AIS Arena tab of the website to find the link to tickets for your chosen event, including requirements around children’s tickets.
To assist in providing a safer environment the following security measures will be in place.
All bags bought into the AIS Arena will undergo a bag check by security on entry so please allow extra time for these security checks. Bags must be no larger than an A4 sheet of paper. Backpacks, nappy bags and bags larger than an A4 sheet of paper should not be bought into the Arena.
For most events, cameras are not permitted, especially those with 'long lenses' or 'professional lenses.
In some cases, an announcement will be made before the show advising that photography is prohibited. We ask that you respect the performers' wishes, as flash photography can affect not only the performers but also other patrons.
A free pram parking service will be made available, this is located in the Marathon Room on ground level – across from Door 1 in the AIS Visitors Centre. Please note – no prams are to be taken into the AIS Arena. No responsibility is taken for the pram whilst it is in this area – we advise no valuables to be kept within the pram.
Please allow additional time to arrive at the venue and access car parks. Parking fees will apply upon entry to the car park. Parking officers may be active in the precinct and patrons are reminded to park legally.
Food and Beverage (other than children’s snacks and drink bottles) cannot be brought into the venue, but will be available for purchase in the venue through various concession stands located both within the AIS Arena and Visitor Centre. Depending on the request from the artist, there may be a direction given that beverages are to only be served in cups and not bottles. Please note, this varies from show to show.
Visitor Centre Theatrette
The Visitor Centre Theatrette offers tiered seating for 69 and is ideal for presentations and lectures.

Charlesworth Theatrette
This is an ideal venue for conferences, seminars, panel discussions and media launches. It holds up to 314 delegates and has wheelchair access. Audio-visual equipment is included in the hire and affords a wireless hearing loop for the hearing impaired as well as digital sound quality. The 300” projection screen in conjunction with the 12,000 lumens laser projector provides enhanced visual effects which will meet the needs of any high profile presentation. With fold-away writing desktops for each chair, nearby break-out rooms and disabled access, the Charlesworth Theatrette is perfect for your next event.

Gold Room
The Gold Room is conveniently located between the Silver and Bronze Rooms and in the same complex as the Charlesworth Theatrette. With a large rectangular floorplan of approximately 196sqm, this room allows for a wide range of setups and numbers, from small meetings to large cocktail functions (maximum capacity 150).
