AIS’s Deep Dive service assists NSOs to embed cultures that are safe, ethical, and contribute to optimal performance outcomes.

Primary Aims

The aim of the High-Performance culture deep dive is to help High-Performance programs to:

Understand culture as it is being experienced, particularly during periods of relative stress (selection trials, peak events, training camps etc.)

Explore how ethical tensions are reconciled within the High-Performance environment

Examine the interplay between cultural wellbeing and NSO success indicators

Pursue informed strategies for cultural advancement that can be integrated into the High-Performance program

• While an NSO may typically consider a Deep Dive following its annual AIS Culture Health Check, or in response to a specific incident or event, sports can opt to initiate Deep Dive servicing at any time
• A Deep Dive is a joint exercise between the AIS and the NSO conducted wholly in a spirit of continuous learning. Deep Dives are not linked to NSO funding, and the strictest confidentiality is maintained at all times.
