Tell-Ask Continuum Facilitate learning environments that empower people to design solutions for situations, challenges or opportunities by shifting from telling to asking.
What you will learn There are choices to be made in the way we interact with the people we are supporting; one of those choices is the degree to which we tell people what to do and how to do it versus asking them questions to help them figure out what they want to do and how they want to do it. This model: Helps you to choose a way of interacting that is appropriate for the relationship you have and the task at hand. Provides categories for your interaction style, ranging from telling to mentoring to asking. Highlights when each might be more appropriate to use when supporting others.
